$100 Gift Card Rewards Purchase - Contest Official Rules

1. ELIGIBILITY: All entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry and be current customers or subscribers to services from The Southern Company, Alabama Power Company, Georgia Power Company, Gulf Power Company, Mississippi Power Company, Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc., Southern Power Company, Southern Communications Services, Inc. d/b/a Southern Linc, and/or Southern Company Gas (collectively, “SCS”). Employees of SCS or SCS’s partners, and their respective immediate family members and household members, are not eligible. Contest Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law or where subject to any licensing or registration.
2. TIMING: Contest Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on June 29, 2018 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Aug 31, 2018 (the “Promotion Period”).
3. HOW TO ENTER: Entrants who make a purchase of any amount using the Rewards mobile app or browser plugin during the Promotion Period will automatically be entered. Entrants may also enter without making a purchase by going to https://rewards.georgiapower.com/contests/$100-gift-card-rewards-purchase/enter and following all directions to submit an entry.

There is a limit of one (1) entry per e-mail address, per person and/or per family or household during the Promotion Period. Use of agencies or robotic, repetitive, programmed or similar entry methods is prohibited. Duplicate, incorrect, invalid, or incomplete entries are grounds for disqualification. All entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules for the Promotion (the “Official Rules”) and to conform to all federal, state, and local laws. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. SCS is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, altered, postage due or misdirected entries, for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to electronic malfunctioning of any network, hardware, or software which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate in this Promotion.

1. PRIZES: One (1) potential winner will be selected each day during the Promotion Period from all entries received on that day and will be eligible to receive a $100 Visa Gift Card. Gift card is subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations of issuer, including any expiration dates and administrative fees.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. No cash value will be given as a substitute prize unless otherwise provided by SCS in its sole discretion. Prizes are awarded “AS IS.” Neither SCS nor its affiliates and partners make or offer any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied (including, without limitation, quality, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) in connection with this promotion or any prize. Prize details and availability are subject to change, in which case a prize of equal value may be substituted at SCS’s sole discretion. Prizes consist only of the items listed and may not be transferrable with no cash redemption or substitution except at SCS’s sole discretion. Federal, province, state, or local taxes on prizes, if any, and any other costs, fees or expenses not listed above are the sole responsibility of the winner.

1. 1. NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: Potential winners will be notified and will have seven (7) calendar days to claim their prize from SCS’s first attempted notification. If the potential winner is not responsive or is determined to be ineligible, he or she will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected from the pool of entries. Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternative or other substitution allowed unless provided by SCS. Except where prohibited, winner consents to the use of winner’s name, city, state, or county, likeness, photograph, statements and/or prize information for promotional and advertising purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
2. DISQUALIFICATION: SCS, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any individual who violates these Official Rules, acts in a disruptive manner, or attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of the contest in any manner, including without limitation by tampering with any website mechanism.
3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: SCS reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond SCS’s reasonable control impairs the administration or integrity of the Promotion as determined by SCS in its sole discretion. In the event of such impairment, potential winners may be chosen from all entries received as of the time of impairment. No liability is assumed for losses incurred as a result of cancellation of the Promotion or for any reason whatsoever.
4. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Promotion, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the state and federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by Georgia law, without reference to conflict of law principles.
